putting text behind a person
to make it look like text is behind of a person with photoshop use this tutorialplease comment if you used this so that i will know if it was helpful

1. open your image. for this tutorial i'll use a picture of jessica alba
2. select the text tool
3. type whatever text you want and adjust the color, size, and etc.
4. rasterize the text; be sure to make any changes to the text before doing this because you won't be able to change anything to the text after rasterizing it
5. select the eraser tool
6. adjust the size of the eraser tool depending on how much you need to erase
7. erase any text that is on the person, for the best results do this slowly and don't erase big parts at a time so that you can be sure to not erase any part that is not covering the person. btw sometimes it's easier to see what parts to erase by lowering the opacity of the text and setting the opacity back when you're done erasing
8. finish erasing all the text that is on the person while leaving what is "behind" them and you're done
